I've got lots of hobbies and interests. Here are just some of them:
CANADIAN FOOTBALL
I started following the CFL in the early 1990s. Since 1995, I've been a season ticket holder of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
I write a blog about the history of Canadian football. You can check it out by clicking here.
GENEALOGY
Family history is one of my favourite things to dabble in, especially during the winter months.
I am active on Wikitree and use RootsMagic for my family tree.
80s WRESTLING
As a child of the 80s, I absolutely loved watching professional wrestling during that decade. Guys like Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Rowdy Roddy Piper,
Hillbilly Jim, Junkyard Dog, and King Kong Bundy were awesome.
HISTORY
Whether it's the history of the world, Canada, or local history I'm interested in it. Funny I didn't take a single History class in university. Everything I've learned about history has been self-taught.
You can learn a lot by reading, watching, listening, and talking to other people.
GEOGRAPHY
One of my favourite subjects in school, I actually have a Minor in Geography.
TITANIC
I've long been interested in the Titanic. Ever since I was a kid. A few interesting Titanic stories... My great-great-great uncle served was a crewman on the Mackay-Bennett,
the ship given the unpleasant task of collecting the bodies. Yours truly was also given an opportunity to be an extra in the 1997 Titanic movie. That's a story for another day.
Finally, the very first webpage I designed as on the Titanic. It was for a first year Computer Science class at McMaster University and done entirely in Notepad. FYI, I got a perfect mark on it.
OLD TIME RADIO
A relatively new interest of mine is old time radio.
