RMS Titanic (31 May 1911 - 15 April 1912)

My very first webpage was all about the Titanic. It kind of looked like this.

Here are some facts about the Titanic:

• The Titanic was the largest ship in the world when she set sail in 1912.
• The Titanic left Southampton, England on April 10, 1912 on her maiden voyage, bound for New York City.
• The Titanic was built with extraordinary safety features, including watertight compartments, which gave her the reputation of being "unsinkable."
• On April 14, 1912, the Titanic struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic. A little over two and a half hours later, the "unsinkable" Titanic sank.
• Sadly, about 1500 people died in the Titanic disaster.
